Residents of our local area are remembering toddler George Hinds on the first anniversary of his death in a gas explosion in Heysham.
Online tributes are being paid to two-year-old George who lost his life in the tragedy on Mallowdale Avenue on May 16 2021.
People are changing their Facebook profile pictures on social media to remember George, using a graphic of his favourite television show 'Paw Patrol'.
This is at the request of George's dad, Steve Hinds.

Meanwhile a Justgiving page set up to fund a memorial garden in George's name has now raised more than £2,900.
