Morecambe FC has announced a number of pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, including one against Championship opposition.
The highlight of the summer friendlies will see Blackburn Rovers visit the Mazuma Mobile Stadium on Friday, July 26 (7:30pm).
The Shrimps, who return to training on July 1, will travel to Kendal Town on Saturday, July 6 (3pm kick off).
There are also further away games scheduled against Longridge Town (Saturday, July 13, 3pm), Burscough (Tuesday, July 16, 7:30pm), as well as a fixture against Southport, currently managed by Morecambe legend Jim Bentley, on Tuesday, July 30 (7:45pm).
The club has announced a further friendly fixture for Saturday, July 13, away at Workington.
A final match against as yet unnamed opposition on Saturday, August 3, will be be announced in due course.
The new League Two campaign gets underway on Saturday, August 10.
The fixtures across all three divisions of the EFL will be released at 9am on Wednesday, June 26.
