Goalkeeper Myles Boney has signed a new one-year contract with Morecambe FC.
The shot-stopper will continue his time with the Shrimps after agreeing terms on a new deal ahead of the upcoming National League North campaign.
The 28-year-old will now remain part of Adam Lakeland’s squad as preparations for the new season gather pace, ahead of a the club’s first pre-season fixture on July 4.
The former Blackpool youth player originally joined the club on non-contract terms in December 2025, making his debut in Morecambe’s win over Gateshead in the FA Trophy, before signing until the end of the season and making four appearances in the National League.
Boney said: “I’m delighted to be staying at Morecambe for another year. It’s a club with real ambition.”
“I can’t wait to meet up with the lads and staff again, get back to work and play my part in building a successful season for everyone connected with the club.”
Manager Adam Lakeland added: “Myles brings valuable experience at this level of football and together with Joe and Alfie, sees us head into the season with a strong and competitive goalkeeper department.”
