A Liverpool legend who captained the team to European glory will appear at a Morecambe sports and social club.
Phil Thompson will tell stories from his career at the Trimpell Club on Friday March 10.
'An Evening with Phil Thompson' will also feature Carnforth comedian Lester Crabtree and host Ian McCulloch.
Thompson captained Liverpool to win the European Cup (the forerunner of the Champions League) when they defeated Real Madrid in 1981.
He also won two other European Cups and seven league titles with the all-conquering Merseyside club in the 1970s and 80s.
The central defender also played 42 times for England and was part of the 1982 World Cup squad.
He was later assistant manager of Liverpool, standing in as acting manager when Gerard Houllier was taken ill during the 2001/2 season.
Thompson has also been a pundit on Sky Sports.
He last appeared at the Trimpell Club, based on Out Moss Lane in Morecambe, in 2011.
Tickets cost £22.50 each or £200 for a table including hot pot supper.
