Morecambe’s last remaining summer loanee, Tom Bloxham, has been recalled by his parent club, Shrewsbury Town.
The highly rated winger arrived at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium in the summer and went on to make 31 appearances in all competitions.
During his time with the Shrimps, the 20-year-old netted winning goals in the opening two rounds of the Emirates FA Cup against Lincoln City and Wycombe Wanderers respectively.
A statement from the club said: ‘’We'd like to place on record our thanks to Tom for all his efforts during his time with us, and we wish him well in his future career.’’
The recall means all five of Morecambe’s summer loan signings – including top scorer Michael Mellon, midfielder Eli King, attacker Ethan Walker and defender James Connolly – have all now returned to their parent clubs.
