Morecambe FC midfielder Miguel Azeez has completed a move to National League side, Carlisle United.
The 23-year-old joins the Cumbrian’s on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee, and becomes United’s new manager Rob Elliot’s first signing.
Azeez made 40 league appearances for the Shrimps, contributing five goals in the National League campaign that ultimately ended in relegation, and was one of just five players under contract at the club going into the summer.
Miguel Azeez said: ‘’I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Morecambe, the staff and players for all they have done for me and the undeniable love the fans have had for me from the day I joined.
‘’I'll always have love for the club and continue to follow their journey. I wish everyone at the club all the best going forward.’’
