Vale of Lune will host a ladies’ rugby training camp at their ground this weekend.
An Allianz Inner Warrior Rugby training camp will take place at Powder House Lane in Lancaster on Saturday afternoon (October 21).
The event is designed to encourage women over the age of 18 to try out, or return to, playing rugby union.
The camp timetable is as follows:
12pm: Arrival - wear something comfortable and suitable for light - moderate exercise and that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
2pm: After meeting and an introduction, a session of rugby games, such as rugby netball & more, which is suitable for all abilities
2:30pm: Loaded fries/nachos and pizzas at clubhouse, which is free for participants.
Everyone who takes part will receive a free Allianz Inner Warrior water bottle.
Allianz Inner Warrior Camps are designed as an introduction to rugby for all levels of experience, from those who have never played to those who want to get back involved.
Over 25,000 women across the country have attended Allianz Inner Warrior Camps to date, with many going on to join women’s touch and contact rugby teams.
The camps also welcome back players who have previously retired.
This camp is for women aged 18 or over only.
