Auction night and disco to help Lancaster animal rescue charity safeguard its future

An auction and disco night for a Lancaster charity will be held to help animals in need.

Paws, Bids and Disco Vibes! for Animal Care will take place on Friday November 20 at Lancaster House Hotel from 7pm.

Tickets are now on sale for the fun-filled evening of fundraising, auction prizes and dancing in support of Animal Care on Blea Tarn Road.

Every ticket sold, every bid made and every pound raised will help animals in need.

Earlier this year, Animal Care launched a fundraising campaign to help safeguard its future after announcing it was in a "very serious financial situation".

Formed in 1978, Animal Care takes in unwanted and abandoned animals from all over the North West and looks after them until they can find them new homes.

The animal shelter, which is entirely self-funded, looks after around 800 dogs, cats, rabbits and more each year.

Tickets for the event cost just £10 per person and are available online HERE or in person from reception, Animal Care, Blea Tarn Road, Lancaster LA2 0RD.

Animal Care is also calling for local businesses or supporters to donate something special for the auction.

Call Nicola 01524 65495 or email nicola@animalcare-lancaster.co.uk to discuss your offer.
