People are invited to remember loved ones at a Lancaster hospice's Light Up A Life event.
The St John's Hospice Light Up A Life Remembrance & Celebration will take place on December 4 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Slyne Road, Lancaster from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
All members of the community are welcome to attend even if you have not had loved ones cared for by St John’s Hospice.
This free event is a chance to pause, reflect and celebrate our loved ones who may no longer be with us, as we move into the busy festive period.
Enjoy an evening of readings from staff, volunteers and family members with music provided by the St John's Hospice Choir and the Lancaster City Brass Band.
After the event, you are welcome to stay for a hot drink and mince pie.
There is also no need to book, but the hospice has asked that people arrive early to ensure a seat.
The hospice will also hold a Light Up A Life event at Garstang Free Methodist Church, Windsor Road, Garstang, from 6.30pm on November 26.
