A BAFTA award winning historian and Celebrity Traitors star is coming to Lancaster for a public talk and Q&A.
Television personality Professor David Olusoga will present History's Missing Chapters at Lancaster Town Hall on Wednesday March 31.
David has become a renowned figure over the years - twice interviewing former US President Barack Obama, reaching the finals of the BBC’s The Celebrity Traitors in 2025, and creating numerous TV history series, most recently new instalments of A House Through Time and Finding Britain’s Slave Traders on BBC2.
He is also the author/co-author of eight books, including Black & British: A Forgotten History, which was awarded both the Longman-History Today Trustees Award and the PEN Hessell-Tiltman Prize.
His talk has been described as "a compelling exploration of overlooked stories and the forces that shape our understanding of the past".
"Drawing on examples from the world wars, The Industrial Revolution, and other pivotal moments in global history, Olusoga will bring clarity and humanity to an interconnected selection of stories and touchpoints that illuminate the hidden corners of modern history.
This talk will be followed by a Q&A session and a book signing.
Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets are available HERE.
