A Lancaster hospice has appealed for help after an attempted break-in at a charity shop in Morecambe.
The St John's Hospice shop on Princes Crescent in Bare was damaged when somebody tried to break in over the weekend.
"Unfortunately this isn't the first time one of our shops has been damaged, but luckily they weren't able to get inside," said a post on the St John's Hospice Facebook page.
"A fabulous supporter has kindly agreed to fit a new window for us without charge, but boarding the window and the replacement glass is costing us money that should be going towards patient care.
"If you can spare a couple of pounds to help us recover the cost of this incident, we would be incredibly grateful."

St John’s Hospice, based at Slyne Road in Lancaster, provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Their charity shops help raise funds for their work.
The St John's Hospice Sustainable Superstore on the Kingsway Retail Park in Lancaster was burgled and damaged in October 2023.
Two laptops belonging to staff, a coat, fleece and jewellery were stolen, and damage was caused.
Last August, a St John's Hospice delivery van was damaged while parked on Slyne Road in Lancaster.
