It happened at a property on Stankelt Road between Friday 4th November and Sunday 6th November.
The offender has forced entry into the house before making off with a large amount of property, including jewellery.
Officers investigating would like to appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between those days to get in contact with us.
