Lancaster comedian Jon Richardson spent his 40th birthday this week doing a quiz at a Morecambe pub.
Jon, star of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Meet the Richardsons with his wife, Lucy Beaumont, celebrated his birthday milestone at The Exchange with his father and other members of their quiz team, called ‘SBC’.
The group came third in the quiz, which is held every Monday evening at the venue.
Landlady of the pub on Regent Road, Debbie Ellershaw said: "He came to see his dad and play my quiz which I'm chuffed about.''

‘’It was also his 40th birthday! He enjoyed it and is coming back soon to take his 3rd place revenge!"
Former Lancaster Royal Grammar pupil Jon came to Lancaster earlier this year, playing a rare local gig at the Grand Theatre in May, in a warm-up to his current ‘Knitwit’ national tour.
Jon also performed locally in 2019, raising £25,000 for St John’s Hospice with a gig at Morecambe’s Winter Gardens, in a show that also included Sarah Millican, Gary Delaney, Lucy Beaumont and Matt Forde.
