A motocross bike that was described as a ‘continuous danger’ to the public has been seized by police in Lancaster.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team said the riding of the bike was a causing anti-social behaviour on the cycle track between Lancaster and Morecambe.
The bike, which was uninsured and ridden by an unlicenced rider, has now been seized after officers acted on information from local residents.
A spokesperson said: ‘’Due to several residents who provided locations and direction of travel, local NPT Officers who had been tasked to reduce anti-social behaviour, were able to track and seize a unlicensed and uninsured motocross bike which we believe had been used to cause continuous danger to members of the public.
‘’Thank you for your continual support to help reduce anti-social behaviour in our community.’’
