A Lancaster surgeon dressed as a giant poo, a Morecambe Winter Gardens supporter and a Heysham mum in a rhino costume have all completed the London Marathon.
Emma Davies, who works at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, took on Sunday's race while wearing a poo emoji costume to raise funds for Bowel Research UK (BRUK).
Emma finished the race in just over five hours and posted an update on her fundraising page afterwards.
"Did it!!! Just over five hours of running in a poo emoji costume was hard work but lots of fun.
"Got called every possible 'poo' name there is, not all of them polite!
"In some places the 'poo' chants were so loud I was running along laughing. Raised lots of money for BRUK too. Thanks so much to all of you who have donated. It means so much to me and BRUK who can continue to fund groundbreaking research into bowel disease."
Emma said it was "a cause very close to my heart as I work with people with bowel diseases every day of my working life".
"I see first hand how bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel conditions affect people’s lives. Bowel Research UK funds cutting edge medical research projects that have the potential to become breakthrough treatments or cures for bowel disorders.
"I’ve run the London Marathon a couple of times now, but this is a new challenge. There’s a lot of wind resistance on that giant poo…"

More than 50,000 runners took part in the world famous Marathon on Sunday.
They included Simon Malpass, who was raising money for the Morecambe Winter Gardens restoration.
Simon's partner's grandmother Dorothy 'Dot' Tickle volunteers at the theatre every week.
He finished the Marathon in four hours 48 mins.
A spokesperson for the Winter Gardens said it was "an amazing achievement" and thanked Simon, Dot and the family for a "fantastic gesture".
At time of writing, Simon (pictured below with supporters) has raised more than £1200 at his fundraising page here.
Kellie Clark from Heysham also ran the Marathon, dressed in a rhino costume, to raise funds for Save the Rhino.
"Thank you to my little team of supporters and everyone who tracked me from home, looked out for me on the TV and sent lovely messages of support," said Kellie, posting on Facebook.
"Huge thanks to everyone who has donated to my rhino fundraising.
"I’m at 90% of my target now so if anyone would like to spare even a £1 to help me reach my target I will love you forever."

And she even met comedian, TV and radio presenter Romesh Ranganathan who ran the Marathon too!
The mum-of-four, who works at The Royal in Heysham, appeared on BBC1's 'The One Show' in her rhino costume on Friday night.
Hannah Molloy, wife of Beyond Breakfast show presenter Dom Molloy, also ran the Marathon.

And Steph Mason, 23, from Halton near Lancaster, ran the Marathon in 5:25:48.
It was Steph's first marathon and she ran for Macmillan Cancer Support.
She raised £3,400 by hosting a charity quiz night at the Station Hotel in Caton and through bonus ball scratch cards.
