Owners of a former bank turned live music bar in Morecambe have announced a change of name for the venue.
The Old Bank will now be called O'Nellys live music bar.
Nicola Kirby, owner of the venue on the corner of Marine Road Central and Pedder Street in the town centre alongside her husband Michael, said it was "named after Nelly our beautiful red boxer who was Mike's best friend when we met, and very swiftly took over my heart as well.
"Sadly no longer with us but would have made the best pub dog ever!
"As you know our pub names all have meanings and this is no exception, next step will be the grand reveal."
In August, Nicola and Michael, who run The Dispensary in Heysham and The Pestle and Mortar in Morecambe, announced they would also be taking over The Old Bank on Marine Road Central, which then reopened.
The Kirbys (below) opened The Dispensary in a former chemist and florist on Heysham Road, in 2023.

Earlier this year they reopened the former Embargo craft ale bar on Marine Road Central, rebranding it as The Pestle and Mortar.
The Old Bank first opened in the former HSBC/Midland bank building in 2023.
