A man has been arrested after two men were assaulted with a hypodermic needle in a Morecambe street.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 causing grievous bodily harm on Wednesday afternoon.
Police launched an appeal for information after the assaults on Regent Road, close to the Co-op, just after 7pm on Saturday.
The first victim, a man in his 30s, became involved in an altercation with the suspect and was stabbed in the stomach with a needle.
When the second victim, a man in his 30s, went to intervene he suffered an injury to his hand caused by the needle.
Both victims attended hospital and have since been discharged.
