The McDonald's restaurant in Lancaster city centre is currently shut for a major revamp.
The fast food giant said they expect to reopen the Cheapside store at the end of August.
“Our Lancaster Cheapside restaurant is currently undergoing a refurbishment as part of our Convenience of the Future programme," said a spokesperson for McDonald's.
"The revamp will improve the experience of both our customers and our restaurant team, and we look forward to welcoming our customers back at the end of August.”
A spokesperson for Lancaster BID (Business Improvement District) said: "McDonald’s on Cheapside is currently being refurbished!
"They’ve let us know this refurbishment should be completed on the 28th of August, we can’t wait to see!"
McDonald's is changing the layout of restaurants across the UK as part of a 'Convenience of the Future' revamp - which they say will have "the latest technology to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for customers".
The McDonalds drive through on Morecambe Road temporarily closed earlier this year for similar changes.
