A Morecambe auto repair centre has won an award for its female-friendly service at the UK Transport Awards.
Westgate Tyres scooped the customer service excellence award for Best Female Friendly Automotive Service Centre in the North West.
The Westgate-based tyre specialist firm is run by the Bailey family and celebrates its 25th anniversary as a business later this year.
Jane Bailey from Westgate Tyres said they "couldn't do it without a fantastic team and amazing local community".
"This latest award is very special to me particularly as it endorses our efforts to be a business within a male-dominated Industry where female customers feel comfortable can trust our advice and know they will be treated with respect," said Jane.
"This award endorsed the fact that the women at Westgate Tyres have made a big impact in the tyre industry."
