New Cash Converters opens in Lancaster city centre

Cash Converters has opened opposite Lancaster bus station

A new Cash Converters shop has opened in a long-empty unit near Lancaster bus station.

Cash Converters is described as the UK's largest second-hand retailer and opened on Damside Street earlier this month in the former Busy Bee supermarket building.

Cash Converters started in Australia in 1984 before opening its first UK store in 1991.

There are now more than 700 stores worldwide.

The company buys and sells pre-owned goods.
