A cafe and meeting place for lovers of games, superhero films, anime and sci-fi is set to open in a Lancaster shopping centre.
Geek Retreat is opening soon in St Nicholas Arcades in the city centre.
With outlets all over the UK, Geek Retreat is a 'geek culture' retailer, gaming cafe and events hub rolled into one, offering inclusive social and welcoming environments for everyone.
The Lancaster store will offer food and drink, sell a range of merchandise and games, and is looking to host Dungeons & Dragons groups, wargaming, cosplay, book clubs and more.
The current nearest Geek Retreat outlet is on Friargate in Preston.
Work is under way inside the unit in St Nicholas Arcades, ahead of an opening date to be announced.
