Morecambe's TT motorbike legend is celebrating his 100th start at the Isle of Man event in style - with a new gin named after him!
The McGin has been created to honour John McGuinness MBE's 100th start at the iconic island meeting in just a few days' time.
The gin is a collaboration between John and the Otterbeck Distillery in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The distillery is part-run by Dougie Lampkin, himself a legend of the motorcycle scene.
Otterbeck Distillery said: "We are delighted to have been asked to create a gin for multiple road race champion John McGuinness MBE to celebrate him making his 100th TT start."
The McGin is described as a "herbaceous and aromatic London Dry Gin with hints of citrus, rosemary and thyme".
John and his family are currently in the Isle of Man as 'The Morecambe Missile' prepares to make his competitive return to the TT (Tourist Trophy) Races circuit.
This week they visited the Talk of the Town restaurant in Douglas to promote the gin and meet motorcycling fans.
John's wife Rebecca also posted about the gin on her Instagram (see picture below), saying she'd had a "nice little afternoon tasting some McGin cocktails".
The gin is on sale from the Otterbeck Distillery website, priced £40.

John will line up in the TT races this year for the first time since 2019, after the Covid pandemic caused the 2020 and 2021 events to be called off.
McGuinness lies second on the all-time list of TT race winners with 23 wins, behind his hero Joey Dunlop who had 26 wins.
'The King of the Mountain', 50, is the number one seed for both the RST Superbike and Milwaukee Senior Races and the Monster Energy Supersport Races, riding for Honda.
His first race of the Isle of Man meeting will be the six-lap RST Superbike TT Race on Saturday, June 4. Photo below by Honda Racing UK.
