A Lancaster coffee shop described as 'one of a kind' has closed down due to the cost of living crisis.
The Dam Good Coffee Shop at 71 Penny Street shut its doors for the final time on Friday.
The shop was known for selling food and drink infused with CBD (cannabidiol) - a chemical substance found in cannabis that has medical benefits.
A post on the Dam Good Coffee Shop Facebook page said: "It comes with a heavy heart and great sadness that we will be closing the doors of Dam Good Coffee Shop.
"With the rise of cost of living which we believe to be affecting not only businesses but people themselves we as a business have had to come an end.
"We can’t thank everyone enough for keeping us going for the past six years.
"There have been so many memories and friends made that we will all forever treasure.
"A huge appreciation to our staff Lesley, Alex, Tamsin, Jordan, Ella, Dylan and Jacob for staying with us right till the end. Our customers who kept us going and have become dear to us all.
"Our neighbours on Penny Street - the Silvertree Team, Co-op Funeral Home, Snap Fitness and many more amazing businesses. Also the community for keeping our name and business out there.
"For the last time have a Dam Good Day."
Another post said: "The love and support over the past few days has been amazing and can not thank everyone enough for all the kind words, flowers, gifts, cards, hearing people stories of how as a coffee shop made you feel. Really can’t put into words how grateful we are for each and every one of you.
"We really were one of a kind."
