Police are looking for two men who assaulted a couple as they were about to get into a taxi then followed them home.
The incident took place on Church Street in Lancaster at around 1.40am on Sunday March 20.
Det Sgt Adie Knowles from Lancaster Police said: "A man and woman were getting into a taxi on Church Street at Lancaster.
"A vehicle drove past and (its occupants) shouted abuse.
"The vehicle stopped, they got out and assaulted the individuals on Church Street by the taxi rank.
"The couple have then gone home, and it would appear these individuals have followed their taxi home and then caused damage to their property."
Police have appealed for anyone who was on Church Street at 1.40am on Sunday and saw people being abusive, to please get in touch.
The wanted men are white. One is described as tall and broader with blond hair, the other is described as being shorter with dark hair. They were in a black car.
