Tyson Fury's promoter has revealed that the Morecambe boxer has told him he wants to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title.
Frank Warren said he'd spoken to Fury on the phone on Tuesday and was told: "Get the fight done."
If the WBC heavyweight champion comes out of retirement to face WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Usyk, Mr Warren said it would be the "biggest fight since Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier".
He said talks had already begun with Usyk's camp and there had been a meeting with the undefeated Ukrainian's team before he defeated Anthony Joshua in their rematch in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
"I literally got off the phone (to Tyson) just before doing this interview, and he wants it," said Mr Warren, speaking on TalkSport radio.
"He's told me to get the fight done.
"He realises also the significance of this fight, as does Usyk, and how big it is.
"Tyson has been telling me that he wanted to fight the winner of (Usyk v Joshua) for the last God knows how many months.
"While the (Usyk-Joshua) fight was on, we were talking. He was in Spain, and he was looking at it, and he was even more up for the fight while he was watching it.
"I really do think Tyson has the beating of Usyk and Tyson, more importantly, thinks he has the beating of him.
"Usyk's team and the fighter want it. I know Tyson wants it.
"It's just how we're going to make it work financially. I think it's the biggest heavyweight title fight probably since Ali-Frazier.
"Both fighters are undefeated, all the belts are there to be won.
"This is boxing's World Cup, we will make it happen, but where it takes place will be determined by finance."

Mr Warren ruled out the fight taking place in the UK, as Wembley Stadium would not be available until April/May 2023 and "we want to get it away before then while everybody's hot to trot".
Instead he hinted that Saudi Arabia, during the football World Cup in nearby Qatar this winter, could be an option for hosting the fight.
"I think the time of year, it it were to go to the Middle East, it's not going to be so hot.
"There's going to be a lot of people over there if it were to be during the World Cup. And I think people will travel from the UK to watch it."
Mr Warren was asked if the fight could happen on December 17 in Saudi Arabia, the night before the World Cup Final.
"We've not even had a conversation regarding that, and that's the truth," he replied.
Meanwhile Fury has been in Mallorca, Spain, for the latest leg of a global speaking tour.
He posted videos to social media from Spain on Saturday, while watching Usyk defeat Joshua via split decision to retain his titles in a gripping fight.
Tyson said it was "one of the worst heavyweight title fights I've ever seen", that he'd "annihilate both of them on the same night" and "get your f____ing cheque book out because the Gypsy King is here to stay, forever!"
Fury also said: "England has been relieved of its belts yet again, as usual. But there is a remedy and a solution that I can suggest. If you want those belts back, then send in the gypsy barbarian of England. But it's not going to be cheap. If you want the best, then you're going to pay, it's going to be very expensive."
This came just days after Tyson reiterated his intention to retire from professional boxing, announcing this on his 34th birthday of August 12.
He also relinquished one of his title belts, The Ring Magazine Heavyweight Title.
A few days before, Fury said he'd be willing to fight former opponent Dereck Chisora.
Prior to that, the Morecambe man had maintained for several months that his April 23 victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium (below) was his last professional boxing match.
