Runners from across the Lancaster and Morecambe area - including Beyond Radio's Phil McGrath - were among those taking part in the world's biggest half marathon.
Phil, who presents The Quick Draw Radio Show on Beyond Radio, and his wife Diane were part of the tens of thousands to take on the 45th Great North Run on Sunday.
This was the sixth time Phil, from Lancaster, has taken part in the 13.1 mile run from Newcastle to South Shields.
He and his wife Diane were raising money for Parkinsons UK.
