An intrepid trio are all set to take on nine mountains in 48 hours for great causes.
Ben Clifton, Ruby Allen and Richard Halstead will tackle the 9 in 48 challenge on June 30.
Last year Ben, from Heysham, who works as a personal trainer and for Lancaster firm FGH Security, and Ruby completed six mountains in 36 hours.
They thought they would try to top that this year, with help from Richard, who is from Over Kellet.

They will start at around 4am at Ben Nevis, then Scafell Pike, then do the Yorkshire three peaks overnight, then travel to South Wales to complete three mountains, including going up and down Snowdon twice.
The trio will raise money for North West Cancer Research and Mind.
