Two teenagers have been arrested after two cars were stolen during a burglary in Hest Bank last week.
Police are investigating after a report of burglary was made to them on Tuesday July 28, with the break-in happening around 2.21am that morning.
Two cars were stolen off the driveway of the house.
Four people wearing face coverings were reported to have been involved in the burglary.
Two teenage boys – aged 18 and 17 – were arrested on suspicion of burglary of a dwelling.
Enquiries are ongoing to find others who were involved.
On the same night as the house burglary, a break-in a garage of a house in the Hest Bank area was reported.
A spokesperson for Morecambe Area Police said: ‘’Reports of burglaries cause concern in communities and we want to reassure you that we have a dedicated team of detectives investigating.
‘’If you saw anything suspicious in the area that night, please get in touch.
‘’We ask that people who have CCTV or ring doorbell in the locality, to view their footage and report anything that is suspicious.
