Vehicle clocked at 106mph on M6 at Lancaster had young family on board

A vehicle containing a young family was stopped by police after it was clocked at 106mph by officers on the M6 at Lancaster this week.

Police pulled over the Land Rover after it was seen doing 36 miles an hour over the limit.

When the vehicle was stopped the driver had their young family on board and stated that they were rushing to the toilet.

Officers said this was despite them driving past Forton Services.

The driver then asked to be let off with a warning, but this was refused and they have been reported for the offence.
