A charity distributing food to people in need has thanked everyone who has helped them after their Lancaster premises had to close following a wall collapse.
The incident at the Chapel Street building, near Lancaster Bus Station, last Tuesday evening meant that Eggcup's team are unable to enter the building and so cannot provide their normal service to members from there.
Eggcup rescues food which would otherwise go to waste and distributes it to those in need.
The charity said they were grateful for "the quick and flexible response" from the Gregson Community Centre and St Chad’s Church, who have helped Eggcup to set up two alternative 'pop up' food clubs in Lancaster.
"We would like to say a big thank you to all the food clubs in the District across Lancaster, Heysham and Morecambe," said Jane Attfield, Eggcup Lancaster co-manager.
"Without their help we would not have been able to find suitable alternative food clubs for all our Lancaster members."
Rebecca Fox, co-manager, said: "Our Eggcup volunteer team have also been amazing.
"They are rallying to help out wherever they can and our van drivers have been out in all weathers - with no base for a brew break!
"Volunteers from The Gregson Centre, Ryelands Residents Association and St Chad’s have also offered their help over the coming weeks. We’re so grateful."

"Once it became clear that they couldn’t use the building they immediately set about devising alternative arrangements.
"They have made contact with all members affected to advise them of the new plans and to support those for whom the new options might not be appropriate.
"I understand that members have been really pleased to be contacted personally and a number have already signed up for the new arrangements.
"There may be a few Eggcup members in Lancaster whom we haven’t been able to contact, perhaps because they’ve changed their phone

Normal service will continue for Eggcup members in Morecambe and Carnforth.
In addition to providing food for its own members, Eggcup supports several other food clubs in the District with transport and infrastructure. That support will continue.
"It’s certainly been a challenging few days", said Mike.
"We’re hugely relieved that no one was injured and very grateful to the emergency services for their prompt intervention.
"We’d also like to thank Jo Wilkinson and her team at Lancaster City Council for their prompt and expert support and advice."
St Chad’s Church Hall will be open starting Easter Monday April 6 between 2pm and 3.45pm whilst the Gregson Centre will serve members starting on Tuesday April 7 between 2pm and 3.30pm.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Chapel Street and Wood Street opposite the bus station, on the evening of Tuesday March 24.

A spokesperson for Lancaster City Council said on March 25: ‘’We are continuing to respond to the partial collapse of a property at Chapel Street/Wood Street, Lancaster.
‘’We were alerted to the incident during the evening of March 24 and immediately enacted our emergency procedures. Council officers attended the site, supporting our emergency service colleagues.
‘’The area was cordoned off, and the owner of the building was notified.
‘’An initial structural assessment was undertaken last night, and officers are attending the site again today (March 25) to make a secondary inspection during daylight hours, to assess the extent of remedial work that will be required.
‘’The main priority is to prevent any further deterioration of the building, and public safety will remain paramount.
‘’No entry to the building is permitted and the site remains closed off.’’
The incident follows the incident earlier this month in Thurnham Street in Lancaster city centre, when a wall collapsed on a building next to the Kwik Fit car park, crushing a car.
