Police are appealing for information after two boys were robbed in Lancaster over the weekend.
At around 7pm on Saturday 1st October, two boys aged 13 and 16, were walking past the area behind Lancaster Train Station, heading in the direction of West Road, when they were approached by three males, wearing balaclavas and reportedly carrying a weapon.
The males approached from the path which goes from Marsh Lane to West Road.
The males threatened the victims before stealing around £45 and a pair of earphones. They then escaped down the cycle path near to West Road.
Detective Constable Peter Bennett of Lancaster Police said: “This is nasty robbery which has left two boys extremely shaken and we would ask for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
“Did you see a group of three males in the area, or two boys being threatened? If so, please get in touch with us.’’
