Investigations continue after a derelict trailer was found abandoned in a layby in Lancaster.
Council officials discovered the old catering trailer in a layby off Quernmore Road this week, following reports.
Officers visited the site and found the trailer in a very poor, dilapidated condition, which could pose a risk to road users.
They’re now trying to trace the owner of the trailer.

A spokesperson for Lancaster City Council said: ‘’We gathered evidence, but although a registration plate was found, it did not link to a registered keeper.
‘’Among the debris was a damaged sign that may relate to the previous operator – our best interpretation of the name is Munchbox Kitchen – along with a Rossi Ice Cream sign.
‘’The matter has been reported to the police, who will arrange for the trailer’s removal.
‘’If you recognise the trailer or know who it belongs to, any information would help with our investigation.’’
