Police are appealing for information after a vehicle failed to stop after hitting parked cars close to a school in Lancaster this morning.
The collision happened near to one of the entrances of Lancaster Royal Grammar on Quernmore Road at around 9am on Thursday morning.
A vehicle travelling towards East Road hit two unattended parked cars causing significant damage.
The driver of the offending vehicle has failed to stop at the scene.
PC Simon Jones from Lancaster Area Police said: ‘’We are conducting enquiries into the incident and are appealing for any witnesses who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
‘’If you have any information in relation to this incident please call 101 quoting log LC-20251016-0303.’’
