An initiative in Morecambe to tackle crime has led to several arrests and the seizure of a quantity of drugs.
Operation Greenwood was a joint Neighbourhood Policing and the local Urban Task Force initiative, targeting drugs, anti-social behaviour and vehicle issues
A spokesperson for Morecambe Area Police said: ‘’We carried out the operation over two days between the town centre and the West End.
‘’Three people were arrested, 31 stop searches were carried out, and drugs, weapons and vehicles were seized.’’
