Work is under way on a new community banking hub and a cafe set to open soon inside a Morecambe shopping centre.
The new banking hub will open at 10 Royalty Mall at the Arndale, Morecambe Bay.
Work is taking place inside the unit next door to Greggs which was once home to Timpson shoe shop.
The old Timpson sign has been revealed as work takes place, see below.

While the work at the permanent hub is ongoing, a temporary banking hub has opened at the Galloway's Society for the Blind building at 12 Victoria Street.
Run by Cash Access UK, the hub is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Banking hubs offer a shared banking space and a counter service where customers of all major banks and building societies can carry out regular cash transactions.
The hubs also offer a Community Banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated banking issues.
The Community Bankers work on rotation, with a different bank available on each day of the week. Community Bankers are usually provided by the banks with the most customers in the local area. major high street banks. They provide cash and basic banking services in communities across the UK.

Community bankers from Barclays (Monday), Santander (Tuesday), NatWest (Wednesday) and Halifax (Friday) are available to speak to customers at the temporary Morecambe banking hub.
Counter services available include to withdraw cash (notes and coin), deposit cash (notes and coin), deposit cheques, pay utility bills, check account balance and collect change (registered business customers).
Customers of all major banks and building societies can access cash services from the banking hub counter, said Cash Access UK.
The new banking hub will open close to the former Halifax building society, which closed recently (see the empty unit below).

Meanwhile, a cafe called The Food Shack is also set to open at the Arndale shopping centre, next door to the banking hub.
It will sell burgers, milk shakes, ice creams, hot drinks, breakfasts, homemade currys, lasagne and chilli, and more.
Work is taking place to prepare The Food Shack for opening, see below.

The Food Shack will be run by the team behind the 'hole in the wall' takeaway of the same name, next to the Arndale.
Elsewhere in the shopping centre, signs are up on an empty unit announcing the opening of a new vape shop.

Other shops at the Arndale include Boots, Max Spielmann, Iceland, and The Cutting Room hair salon which opened earlier this year.
