A man's body has been found on the beach at Heysham.
Emergency services were called at around 3pm on Tuesday and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as non-suspicious, said a police spokesperson.
"Our thoughts are very much with his loved ones at this distressing time," he said.
