A new fast food takeaway in Lancaster city centre has enjoyed a busy first weekend of business.
Roast opened its doors in St Nicholas Arcades on Thursday June 22 and was so busy during its opening few days that the chain put out a call to recruit more staff.
"Well what a week in Lancaster!" said a post on the Roast Facebook page.
"We are THAT busy we need some more employees!"
The new shop, selling a selection of rotisserie roast meat as well as baguettes, box meals and breakfasts, is located opposite HMV in the shopping centre.

Roast has operated a similar fast food outlet in Preston city centre for several years and also has shops in Birkenhead and Liverpool.
The firm also provides a delivery service through Just Eat UK.
Applications for new employees are now closed, said a post on the chain's Facebook page.
