The CancerCare centre in Morecambe will mark its birthday with an open day tomorrow (Wednesday May 4) for the public to pop in to find out about its services.
Tomorrow is the first anniversary of the centre opening on Northumberland Street.
Simon Rothwell, director of client services at CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria, has been speaking to Beyond Radio about the centre and the services it offers.

The open day runs from 10am to 4pm.
"People are invited to pop in to have a look, see what we do, especially if you feel that either yourself or someone else has been impacted by cancer or bereavement, it might be worth sticking your head in and talk to us," said Simon.
"You may feel that we have a service that will benefit you."
The Morecambe centre opened in 2021 as an additional home for CancerCare services in the local area, alongside its regular base at Slynedales in Lancaster.
