A familiar voice in local radio is returning to the North Lancashire airwaves at Beyond Radio.
Tony 'Cooky' Cookson debuts this Friday (February 5) at 12pm with a brand new show on North Lancashire's community radio station.
Regular listeners to local radio in the Lancaster and Morecambe area will remember 'Cooky' as a presenter at our districts former local station 'The Bay' for almost 20 years.
Now the popular 'Cooky' is back with a weekly three-hour show from noon to 3pm every Friday on Beyond Radio.
Cooky said: "I'm really looking forward to joining the team at Beyond Radio. I've missed broadcasting to the North Lancashire area and can't wait to be back on the radio again."
Duncan Moore from Beyond Radio said: "It's great to have Cooky back on the radio in the North Lancashire area and we are really pleased that he is joining our team."
"We are sure our listeners will enjoy hearing his warm, friendly and familiar voice again as he brings them our usual mix of great music and local information on Friday afternoons."
NW PALS are sponsoring Cooky's weekly show on Beyond Radio.
