Crews tackle fire at property in Morecambe

Crews have put out a fire after an early morning call to a property in Morecambe.

Two fire engines from Morecambe were called to a domestic building fire on West End Road at 7.15am on Wednesday.

A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.

"Crews remained at the scene for two hours."
