Fire crews have tackled a blaze at a flat in Morecambe last night.
They were called to a property on Thornton Road shortly before 8pm last night (May 23).
Three appliances from Lancaster, Morecambe, and Bolton-le-Sands attended the scene.
The incident involved a flat on the first floor. Firefighters used two hose reels, four breathing apparatus, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
One person was assessed before being placed in the care of paramedics.
Crews remained in attendance for approximately two hours.
