A man ran off from police officers after his van was pulled over in Lancaster over the weekend.
The driver of the van decided to run off when stopped in the city last night, but not before telling officers his name.
The man also left his mobile phone at the scene.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Road Police said the van had been seized and driver would be spoken to soon about the motoring offences.
