Organisers of Armed Forces Day celebrations in Morecambe said an estimated 30,000 people attended the event - which was headlined by the Red Arrows.
The Lancaster and Morecambe District Armed Forces Day on Saturday also raised £4979 for St John's Hospice and veterans' charities.
Crowds gathered on the central Promenade to watch two flypasts by the Red Arrows, and displays by the RAF Falcons and Red Devils army parachute display teams.
Armed Forces Day is a chance for people to show their support to those who make up the Forces community, from currently serving personnel to service families, veterans and cadets, as well as blue light services in the area.
"Despite the wind and the rain, Morecambe, Lancaster, Carnforth and the surrounding area turned out to support our Armed Forces community and our blue light services," said Flt Lt Kris Bishop, chair of the organising committee.

"There were people from all across the country visiting due to this event - a couple from Kent and a couple from Shropshire to name but a few.
"It shows we're growing and it shows that Morecambe Promenade can offer something spectacular on a regular basis which we've all known for a long time, so we'll keep going as long as people still keep coming.
"On behalf of the volunteer committee, thank you to everyone who came."
There was also a parade, musical performances, more than 70 stalls for people to visit, and an appearance by the Beyond Radio team including Beyond Bear.
