Beyond Radio has spoken exclusively to the Thistlethwaite family who will take over at a Morecambe pub this Easter weekend.
Siblings Matt, Hannah and Luke Thistlethwaite, new managers at Harry's Bar on Morecambe Promenade, said they were "excited and ready" to be running a pub for the first time.
The reopening on Good Friday, April 15, will be a true family affair, as Hannah's daughter Kiara, Matt's daughters Layla and Tia, and Luke's daughter Lucie are all part of the team.
And the very first live music act to perform for them tomorrow, will be Baton Rouge Band, with Matt, Luke and Hannah's cousin Laura Thistlethwaite on vocals and their uncle Gary Thistlethwaite on pedal steel guitar!
LISTEN NOW to our interview with Hannah, Matt and Luke Thistlethwaite from Harry's Bar:
"We are from a very very close family," said Luke, who will be in charge of the food at Harry's Bar, after 17 years of working in the motor trade.
"Morecambe has had its ups and downs, and if we can instil a bit of family value back into it, that pays dividends."
Hannah has worked in insurance for more than 20 years, the last nine as a fraud investigator.
She has experience of working behind the bar at The Royal in Morecambe and will be in charge of the bar at Harry's.
"We've always knocked about together, we've done everything together growing up, we've had our fall outs like everybody else but we are really really close, and we're buddies," she said of her relationship with her brothers.
"We do work well together, we are very different yet very similar."
Matt, who is known locally as a DJ and has also worked in child care, will be booking the live entertainment at the pub.
He said: "We were given an opportunity which we discussed between ourselves and all decided we were ready for a little career change, and it's moved quickly from there.
"We're going in at the deep end with a double bank holiday weekend and we're excited about it.
"We've had a lot of messages of support from friends and family, and we feel very lucky to have been given this opportunity in one of the hotspots in Morecambe."
Harry's Bar is owned by the O'Hagan family who have a number of properties on the seafront. The bar opened in 2018.
