Festival organisers can now apply for small grants of £3000 - Lancaster City Council has announced.
The funding for events in the Lancaster and Morecambe District is being made available by the city council via the government UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
It is part of ongoing efforts to support festivals that celebrate the local area and help to attract visitors.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday May 30.
The earliest start date for projects is July 1 and they need to have taken place by the end of March 2026.
“Festivals bring our communities together, support local talent, and make our district a vibrant place to live, work and visit," said Councillor Martin Bottoms, cabinet member with responsibility for Morecambe regeneration and local economy.
"These small grants are designed to give organisers a helping hand to develop and expand their reach.”

The closing date for applications is Friday May 30 at 5pm.

The grants are separate to those offered by Morecambe Town Council, who support events and festivals in Morecambe with funding.
In February, the town council approved a budget of £63,000 in grants to be awarded to event and festival organisers in 2025/26, as well as £63,000 towards running the council's own events. The budget also includes £25,000 as part of an already-agreed three-year funding package for the annual Baylight light art festival.
