Firefighters were called to two separate vehicle fires in the Lancaster District within a 24-hour period.
The first of the two call-outs was at 4.15pm on October 29 when one fire engine from Lancaster attended a vehicle fire on Main Street, Cockerham.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and 15 minutes.
Then, the fire service was called at 2.05am on October 30.

Firefighters used one hose reel and small tools to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for 50 minutes.
