Crews have tackled another fire at a former skip hire site on a Lancaster industrial estate.
Firefighters were called at 4.11pm on Monday, to a derelict premises on the former A1 Supa Skips site on the Lune Industrial Estate.
"At 16:11 hours on Monday 18th August 2025, three fire engines from Morecambe, Hornby and Garstang, the water tower from Lancaster, and the aerial ladder platform from Preston attended New Quay Road," said a spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue.
"The fire involved a derelict property.
"Crews used one 45-millimetre jet, one ground monitor, one drone and the water tower to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were detained for three hours."
An eye-witness told Beyond Radio that Monday's fire was at the old power station on the former A1 Supa Skips site.
In December 2023, 10 fire engines were called to a major blaze at the site, involving around 13,000 tonnes of commercial waste (below).

Firefighters were on the scene for weeks, bringing the fire under control.
The fire, linked to the abandoned waste, caused significant disruption and clean-up costs of over £2m.
*A man was sentenced last week to 16 months' imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, and 200 hours unpaid work, after being found guilty of seven offences relating to illegal waste operations at three sites on the Lune Industrial Estate that led to the major fire in December 2023.
