Firefighters tackle blaze in derelict Lancaster farmhouse

Crews were called to a fire in a derelict farmhouse in Lancaster.

Three fire engines from Bolton-le Sands, Hornby and Lancaster were called to Stone Row Head Farm at 15.31 on September 1.

The fire involved the wooden floor of the derelict farmhouse.

"Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire," said a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.

"Crews were in attendance for 40 minutes."
