The Friends of The Platform are planning a launch night at the Morecambe arts venue for their new members loyalty scheme - as well as a fundraising auction.
The event is expected to take place in early December on a date to be announced.
Admission will be free, there will be a Master of Ceremonies, entertainment, and some exciting items have been donated which will be auctioned on the night to raise funds for the new Friends group.
The Friends of the Platform has already grown from 26 to 166 members in six months since it began, with an initial meeting in May.
The Friends, working with the management and staff of The Platform, aim to raise awareness of the much-loved Morecambe live music venue on the Promenade, located inside the town's former railway station.
They want to attract financial support to bring about improvements and enhancements to the venue.
Their next General Member Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at the Platform at 6.15pm.
In October, the Friends held their first fundraising evening at the venue, with live music and a talk by former Lancaster University entertainments manager, Barry Lucas.
This brought in £1250.
Current funds raised to date total nearly £3,000.
The new Loyalty and Reward Programme will be launched in early December for a start date of January 1 2025.
A further fundraising evening is being arranged for late in January 2025.
A £15,000 grant application to the Arts Council is being put together for a replacement sign at the front of The Platform as well as additional signage, branding and venue awareness.
David Morgan, chair of the group, said: "The Friends of the Platform have been talking to local organisations and residents about their future plans.he launch of the Loyalty and Reward Programme and the response they have received has been one of overwhelming support and requests for further information details.
"Additionally, the management of The Platform have made us aware of the exciting and dynamic new programme that they are producing for next year, which is going to make membership of Friends of the Platform Morecambe a must if you are not to miss out on the great acts and artists who will be visiting the venue.
"Already one show booked for this month is sold out and there is a waiting list for any possible returned tickets."
The group was set up after fears in 2023 that Lancaster City Council might pull out of running the Platform and the venue could be closed. The council did a U-turn on the plans after a campaign by residents and supporters of the Platform.
