Villagers in Heysham are celebrating two awards at the UK's largest competition for community gardening.
Heysham Flower Power won a coastal village gold award at the Britain in Bloom finals held at Old Trafford in Manchester.
The village also won a certificate of achievement for exceptional public engagement - arts and culture award.
Britain in Bloom is run by the Royal Horticultural Society and judges visited the village earlier this year.
"Well done to everyone who volunteered and contributed, we achieved this with your support," said a post on the Heysham Neighbourhood Community Facebook page.
A total of 52 community gardening groups from across the UK reached the 2024 Britain in Bloom UK Finals and were judged against criteria including the environment, community engagement and horticulture.
